Van studied at Kingston University before completing her professional accreditation at Westminster University. Her career covers a wide range of fields that contributed to an extensive experience from bespoke high-end housing to commercial design and high rise residential towers.  Her experience goes beyond housing and commercial and includes the design of cultural and sporting arenas as well as infrastructure projects. Notable projects include the Liverpool M&S Bank Arena, Farringdon Rail Station, and the 2012 London Olympics where she worked on the Basketball Arena, Velodrome, Eton Manor, and The BMX Track Arena. Van amassed this wealth of experience by establishing herself as a reliable project and lead designer in reputable firms such as Wilkinson Eyre, PLP and Populous. 

Since 2019, Van has been a part of Creative Prototyping Unit where her passion and expertise has been invaluable in driving the studio forward. Van demonstrates a versatility in her approach which is clearly identified in the range and scale of her projects. Her passion has allowed her to continuously take on new challenges and provide unique design solutions whatever the scale or type of project.
